Course Overview: This 2 hour seminar will look at considerations in appraising proposed SFRs for federally regulated institutions. Topics include hypothetical vs. prospective values, USPAP and FIRREA compliance, types of profit and reconciling the Cost Approach with a builder's cost breakdown.

Instructor: Alexander Gilbert is a California certified residential appraiser and AQB certified USPAP instructor. He began his career as  a residential staff appraiser with Bank of America and Citibank, transitioning to appraisal management and review with Bay View Bank and Sumitomo Bank of California. He currently manages residential appraisal for California, Oregon and Washington for Zions Bancorp. Alex has been teaching appraisal courses in the Bay Area since 1998 and is currently a Northern California instructor for McKissock.
