This class will introduce you to the appraisal concepts of Diminution in Value and Stigmatized Properties. Bruce Hahn, MAI, SRA, ASA will walk us through the process of determining how much a property has declined in value including:
- Classification (permanent vs. temporary)
- Cost Does NOT Equal Value!
- Report Writing
- Scope of Work
- Resources and References
We'll finish the class by walking through simple and complex case studies.
Our instructor is Bruce Hahn, MAI, SRA, ASA, Certified General Appraiser. Bruce is an independent fee appraiser from Walnut Creek with extensive experience as an expert witness and is past president of the Northern California Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.
Cost is $30 for members/$60 for non-members and includes dinner at the Dante Club. You must be signed in to your account on the REAA website to get member pricing.
